This was my first time attending it, and though I was a little bored during the talks, the experience was worth it. The college I attend to organises the bus and the hotel, and the students as a whole. No, they don't organise the conference. We're just listeners as many other people.

So, I'll be talking both about the conference and my university's organisation:

We left for the city where the conference takes place at 1 AM from the college ground, and arrived at 6:30AM, on Friday September 25th. The hotel is located in front of the beach, but honestly, that hotel should take more advantage of its location.. smh.

Back to topic, my friends and I were given the key for the room 229, and once we opened the door, we found out there were three more doors: the centre one was the bathroom, while the side ones were other rooms, each with three beds. That meant we had to share keys with another room (230). What the h-. Yep, we were six girls sharing one bathroom. The worst thing about this is that there were only two sockets in total, one in our room and another in the bathroom.. while the other room didn't have one. So naturally we let them have the bathroom one. However, ours was malfunctioning and we had to keep leveling our plugs in order for them to work. Ugh. Other than that, it was an okay lodging. But just like I said earlier, it could improve and be a better hotel given it has a nice location! I'd be such a waste if the hotel stayed as is. 

Okay, it's now time to talk more seriously about the topic!
